Once upon a time there was a Boot. The Boot was born in Irkutsk footwear factory. The Boot was so proud of its origin and of being a genuine leather Boot! It was so self-opinionated that it didn’t notice hundreds of other boots on the shelf where it was put. Sun ray was playing on its toe! And our hero felt really happy!
One day the Boot was placed in the box together with another one and it was said, “This is your brother!” Then some people came and bought the Boot together with its brother. The Boot appeared to be a too small one! And it was given to a little boy-daredevil! First the Boot got into mud, then into water. It was kicking a ball, empty cans and stones all day long. The Boot got upset, forgot about its pride and got unstuck. Its sole was detached. “It’s the end,” he thought.
And what a miracle! The Boot was taken by kind female hands and washed! Then those kind female hands took the Boot to the Shoemaker’s shop. When the sole was stuck by the Shoemaker, the Boot felt fine again. It was greased with shoe cream, and the Sun ray started playing on its toe! Once again the Boot felt really happy!

A Boot.
